I retired in 2022 after a fulfilling 30-year career as a hospital bedside RN.  In addition to my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I am certified in orthopedic nursing and hold a law degree.  I observed firsthand the value of effective communication between patients and their healthcare providers. I had to pay close attention and be extremely aware of details at all times. I have listened to friends and family members relate their experiences with doctor visits and hospitalizations with the same level of detail. Today, being an independent patient advocate is the best way for me to continue helping others. I am comfortable in a medical setting. This work comes naturally to me and is the reason I obtained my board certification in patient advocacy.

I have lived in Fountain Hills since 2004, and I’m excited to be of service to the local community.  Since I am associated with the Arizona Association of Patient Advocates, if you have a specific problem outside of my areas of expertise, I can refer you to another advocate.   

Insurance does not cover the costs of patient advocacy. The services you need will most likely be situational, with a defined endpoint.  I charge an hourly fee, and  I would be happy to discuss pricing details further should you Contact Me .
